PKT - PRELIMINARY KNOWLEDGE TEST
Compulsory Preliminary Knowledge Test
At the beginning of the MA course in International Sciences (LM-52), including the curriculum in European Studies, students have to take a Preliminary Knowledge Test (PKT). The PKT will be held on three dates from October onwards. Each student cannot participate in more than one test.
The PKT is not an exam: it is a 15-item multiple-choice test aimed to assess the knowledge level relating to the main areas covered in the Master’s course: Law, History, Economics. Scores will be calculated by assigning 1 point for each correct answer, and 0 points for incorrect answers or unanswered questions.
Students who score less than 3 out of 5 points in any subject area will be invited to contact the area coordinators to discuss their test results and plan how to address gaps in their initial knowledge. If these gaps are not addressed, starting from the second semester, the Teaching Committee may consider suspending the registration of exams.
