TEACHING QUALITY ASSURANCE
JOINT TEACHERS-STUDENTS COMMITTEE
The Department’s Joint Teachers-Students Committee (CPDSS) is responsible for
monitoring the delivery of education and the quality of teaching. It does so by
defining and tracking suitable indicators, harmonised with ANVUR metrics, to
measure the achievement of teaching objectives. The committee’s composition,
meeting minutes, and annual reports are maintained to ensure transparency and
accountability.
AQ MANAGEMENT GROUPS
The AQ-CDS Management Group coincides with the Teaching Committee. It is
responsible for compiling the Annual Monitoring Form and the Cyclical Review
Report of the degree programme.
TEACHING COMMITTEES
The Teaching Committees (CpD) are joint bodies composed of faculty members
and students, typically established for each bachelor’s and master’s degree
programme. They are responsible for overseeing the courses, with duties that
include course design, management, periodic review, and continuous improvement.

ANNUAL SINGLE-SHEET (SUA-CDS) AND REVIEW REPORTS
The Single Annual Report Card (SUA-CDS) is a management tool that supports
the design, implementation, self-assessment, and re-design of the Degree
Programme.
The Review is part of a periodic and planned self-evaluation process aimed at
assessing the adequacy of the learning objectives set by the programme, the
alignment between these objectives and the actual outcomes, and the effectiveness
of programme management. This process also involves identifying the causes of
any unsatisfactory results. The primary goal of the review is to implement specific
corrective actions to improve the programme and/or its management system.
The programme’s self-evaluation is documented in two key reports. While both
focus on the same subject, they adopt different analytical perspectives:
1. Annual Monitoring Form (AMS)
Starting from 2017, the Annual Monitoring Form replaces the former Annual Review
Report. It must be completed according to the format defined by ANVUR, as
outlined in the annex to the AVA Guidelines (5 May 2017). The form includes
indicators related to student progression and other quantitative monitoring data. The
Degree Programme Boards are required to provide a concise commentary on these
indicators each year.
2. Cyclical Review Report
This report provides a comprehensive evaluation of the entire educational project,
covering the full duration of a student cohort’s academic journey. It is based on the
relevant Quality Assurance Requirements (R3) and includes a detailed analysis of
identified issues along with specific proposals for corrective measures to be
implemented in the next cycle.
SURVEY OF STUDENTS’ OPINIONS ON TEACHING
The evaluation of teaching is one of the key measures adopted by the University to
ensure the quality of its educational offerings, monitor learning outcomes and
training processes, and provide data for internal assessment.
Students’ feedback represents a valuable source of information, enabling the
University to identify critical issues and gather suggestions for the continuous
improvement of both its academic programmes and the services that support
students throughout their university experience, including teaching, administrative,
and digital services.
The University collects student opinions anonymously through an online
questionnaire, which can also be completed in the classroom using smartphones,
tablets, or laptops.
It is extremely important that students complete the questionnaire thoughtfully, as
the feedback provided plays a fundamental role in identifying areas for
enhancement, with the goal of ensuring increasingly effective and high-quality
educational offerings.
